Plan B Training teaches you the essential skills for the safe and efficient handling of firearms. We lay the foundations with a focus on safety, handling and marksmanship. Our methodology of basic, practical and defense shooting leads you to your goal in a practical and guided manner. Safety comes from training – not from owning a gun.
For beginners through to experienced shooters – we look forward to introducing you to shooting.
Our shooting training is divided into three areas that allow you to develop in a clear and practical way:
Basic training: Learn the essentials – responsibility and safety, solid handling, stable hit pattern and practical basics.
Practical Shooting: Train on the move and develop your skills with flexible, dynamic exercises.
Defensive shooting: Apply what you have learned in realistic scenarios and gain experience under stressful conditions.
From the basics to the application – our concept is geared towards your progress, your responsibility and your commitment.
Safety. Handling. Meetings.
We start where it makes sense – with the basics. Our shooting approach is not a theory course, but a well thought-out introduction to safe and correct gun handling. From the first grip to the precise shot. Clear procedures, methodical training and comprehensible exercises ensure that safety and accuracy develop sustainably – without pressure, but with attitude.

In 2 to 3 hours we will teach you the basic principles of safe handling, loading and unloading under stress, shooting with different types of ammunition and the effect on the target.
Special attention is paid to the ballistics, spread circle, range and effect of the respective ammunition – explained and applied in a practical manner.
Duration: 2-3 hours
Objective: Sound introduction for effective application in training or deployment
Our micro drills help you to optimize the smallest details in handling – and thus significantly increase your overall performance. This method is particularly suitable for shooters who are very busy at work or want to spend their free time with their family, but still want to train in a targeted and efficient manner – at home or in the shooting range.
In the Micro Dry Drill Workshop you will receive a sound introduction to specialized dry practice, adapted to your personal weapon and equipment. You will learn how to make the best use of your time at home to improve your shooting practice with live ammunition later on.
The methods taught are based on a precise and systematic training approach – inspired by the work of Alain Baeriswyl. Studies show that short, regular training sessions sustainably improve shooting performance.
The workshop includes didactics, methodology, setting up your own training station at home and specific micro drills for everyday use. The aim is to ensure that your time in the shooting range can be used for technique control and correction in future – not for basics.
Duration: 2 hours
Location: Online or on site according to the announcement

Defensive shooting is aimed at experienced shooters who want to take the next step and focus on the moment of decision in critical situations. This training goes far beyond technique: it prepares you to act calmly and decisively in stressful situations. The focus is on the three central questions that every gun carrier must answer for themselves: Am I prepared to kill? Why do I carry a weapon? Am I prepared to live with the consequences?
Defensive shooting is not a fun training program. It was developed on the basis of our own operational experience, consultations with emergency services and evaluations of real incidents. The focus is on quick decision-making, efficient action and survival under stress.
The program is primarily aimed at professional firearms carriers (police, military, security services), but selected content is also integrated into our self-protection training for civilians.
The training is based on ten principles derived from armed confrontations – including insights from the NYPD, LAPD, FBI and Active Self Protection.
They all start with a standardized basic module that focuses on responsibility when handling weapons.
Defensive shooting means: survival instead of impressing.
Level A – Gun Owner/Citizen:
Basics of self-defense and safe gun handling for civilian owners.
Level B – Private Security Providers:
In-depth tactical shooting techniques and stress decision making for security personnel.
Level C – Police & Security Authorities:
Advanced operational techniques, critical decision making and legal aspects for authorities.
Level D – Military:
Specialized training in advanced combat techniques, strategic planning and high-risk situations for military personnel.
A 4-hour intensive course that simulates real threat situations.
The aim is to debunk myths at close range and make the right decision under stress – to shoot or not to shoot.
The course combines force-on-force drills, technical shooting exercises and mental preparation to specifically improve tactical behavior and decision-making skills.
We train with our specially developed Plan B targets and reactive targets, which provide immediate feedback and make the pressure of real decisions tangible.
Ideal for experienced shooters who practise their skills regularly.
Here you don’t learn how to shoot – that is a prerequisite.
Here you learn when to shoot.
A 2-hour, regular training course for experienced shooters (prerequisite: Plan B Practical Shooting Advanced).
The focus is on situational shooting under realistic conditions.
Tactical decision-making processes are trained according to the principle of “communicate – move – shoot”, the targeted use of cover, movement techniques, low-light scenarios, immediate action drills and dealing with stress and time pressure.
The aim is to safely transition from technical shooting to force-on-force scenarios.
Our tried-and-tested Plan B targets and reactive targets are also used here to provide immediate feedback and realistic reactions.
Only for experienced shooters who have mastered the safe handling of live ammunition.
Force-on-force training for experienced shooters and security forces – supplemented by prior training.
The training offers realistic, simulation-based scenarios without live ammunition and focuses on tactical decision-making under stress, recognizing gaps in one’s own training and the targeted training of team coordination.
Technical and tactical training in CQB (Close Quarters Battle) is integrated – spatial tactics, low-light applications and movement sequences as required in police, military and security contexts. This content is practiced in force-on-force with airsoft, blueguns and replicas.
The program is run in partnership with MilSim and szenariotraining.ch and consists of three levels:
Level 1 (3h) decision drills / Level 2 (3h-1 day) situational training / Level 3 (2 days) MilSim scenarios with szenariotraining.ch.
Training is carried out with replica weapons, lighting technology and reactive targets – for maximum reality without live ammunition.
This module teaches the targeted and tactical use of white light under realistic conditions – deliberately without night vision devices, but with maximum clarity and efficiency.
You train under stress and irritation: coordination of light and weapon, target acquisition, identification, disorientation, movement and reaction. The training challenges your concentration and decision-making skills – even in situations where no shot is fired.
According to FBI statistics, around 70% of all escalations take place in poor visibility – a clear mandate for the practice.
After this training, a tactical lamp is a must for your equipment.
Practice-oriented module for professional firearms carriers
You will learn how to carry your weapon safely, inconspicuously and ready to hand – whether openly or concealed. The focus is on weapon protection techniques in contact situations, preventing disarming and quick, controlled drawing from concealed carry.
Based on real operational situations (including DEA & Systema), you will also train your movement behavior, mindset and choice of clothing in order to remain as undetected as possible in everyday life.
Only for holders of professional firearms with a service card, proof of need or valid firearms carry permit.
Vehicles are increasingly being targeted in current threat situations – and in such moments, every second counts. In this training course, you will learn how to react tactically under fire in and around the vehicle, use cover, protect your team and remain capable of acting at the same time.
Dynamic shooting exercises under time pressure, tactical behavior when under fire, the targeted use of cover, as well as realistic fire and stress drills prepare you for extreme scenarios. You train your reaction, precision and resilience under high physical and mental stress.
Even without previous experience in the area of “Vehicle Under Fire”, you will receive structured and individual support – step by step, we will guide you through the complex requirements. Our goal: safety, competence and self-confidence – even under extreme conditions.
Be ready when you need to be. Security and independence in emergency situations.
