Because we have the enthusiasm, expertise and performance to do so!
Welcome to Plan B Training, your platform for security and personal protection skills. Founded by Marc Baumann, an expert with over 20 years of experience in training and operations, we aim to make security skills accessible to all. Our training courses are based on real-life scenarios, practical methods and a holistic approach that combines people, technology and processes.
At Plan B Training, we believe that safety is not an option, but a necessity. Our aim is to prepare people for unforeseen situations, strengthen their personal responsibility and give them the tools to protect themselves and others in a crisis.
At Plan B Training, we do not see training as a completed unit, but as a continuous, process-oriented path to operational readiness. Our formats such as QuickTraining4WAR, inspired by the writings of Baden-Powell, embody a methodology based on practice, clarity and continuous optimization – in the spirit of the Japanese Kaizen principle: change for the better.
Our training courses thrive on repetition, adaptation and consciously working with small but decisive changes. Every drill, every feedback, every mistake is an opportunity for further development. Quick manuals, cube plans or weekly tips are dynamic tools, not fixed teaching aids.
Everyone involved – from beginners to trainers – is part of the improvement process. Our participants are not passive recipients, but active contributors. This culture of shared responsibility is the foundation of our training community.
We don’t measure by your form on the day, but by your progress in the process. What counts is not how well you shoot or fight today – but how systematically you learn, think, move and react. Our methodology is derived from four clear priorities:
These four areas are not juxtaposed, but intertwine – physically, tactically, emotionally and in terms of mindset.
Our QuickTrainings are deliberately short, focused and intensive. We don’t waste time with theory that nobody needs – we practise what is immediately applicable. Whether in the gym, outside, on the mat or in the field: every drill has a purpose. Everything else is omitted.
We work with standards – but we don’t record them. Every new procedure that proves itself in training is documented. Our Quick Manuals and Training schemes are living documents. They adapt – to new findings, new scenarios, new people.
We analyze, we discuss, we change. Whether in the AAR (After Action Review), in partner work or in self-coaching: what counts is not whether you do everything right, but whether you recognize what helps you move forward. This is the Kaizen culture at Plan B.
Be ready when you need to be. Security and independence in emergency situations.
